It's a Chibson with a much shallow headstock angle first of all. A real Gibson would have snapped on the first drop.

Epiphone has absolutely nothing to worry about complete junk I bought one after watching your review if you had to set it up you know it's junk also you have to bow the neck in so it doesn't deaden out if you set it up correctly it won't play just be honest max it's total crap I would not sell this guitar to anyone worse guitar I've ever bought and for 40O bucks necks a rubber band what junk

Max I'm a little upset with you I just bought a eart 335 and watched your video on it first before buying it 400 dollar guitar complete junk the neck is like a rubber band you have to have the neck bowed in so strings don't deaden out if you set it up correctly it will not play when a guitar is junk please say it's junk I would not sell this guitar to anyone it's junk I expected to get the truth from you max you new this guitar is junk no way you didn't know just be honest it's horrible for a beginner guitar much less 400 bucks

Just take out the pickups or open the control cavity to see what it is made from. Excess drama for clickbait by actually cutting the guitar.

The way it eventually broke suggests a two piece neck with a scarf joint. That’s not the U&C Gibson way of building a guitar and also suggests that wasn’t a genuine Gibson…excuse me…an Authentic Gibson. 😉

I honestly don’t care what materials a guitar is made of as long as it’s shaped comfortably and it’s not horribly heavy. But what is missing in cheaper guitars is precision. Many expensive guitars also have QC issues, but $150 guitars that I have personally owned have always had issues. And I don’t consider it some kind of fail if I’d rather pay money to not have to fix issues on a new guitar.

1) It looks almost as if this neck finally separated along a scarf joint. Gibsons typically don’t use scarf joints, so I don’t think this is a typical Gibson headstock failure mode. 2) I notice you didn’t have all the strings on the guitar. Having tension on the neck makes a big difference.

Maybe that's how Gibson should ship them... Apparently once you put them in a Gibson case and then a Gibson box, they lose all structural integrity at the nut.

I had 8 Gibsons in the past 15 years , lps, sgs and a 65 melody maker. I play aggressive music, live wild and I’ve never broke a headstock!

Hey max. I had to scroll a bit to find this video. I got a similar Jackson but in lefty. It's the gun metal grew one. I added a Lefty Gotoh 1996t, Black Winters, a right handed Jackson neck from a King V, which I sanded and added a new Jackson logo, Gotoh nut and tuners. It's now a budget, kinda shred machine. You inspired me to make what I wanted.
